Artthaus is a growing full-service design, construction and development firm located in the Mission. Our projects range from high-end residential to large multi-family and mixed use projects. We are looking for skilled designers with substantial production experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable and has experience producing a detailed construction document, seeing the project through schematic design to completion, including direct client relations. This position requires a highly-motivated person with an accredited architecture degree and a minimum of 5 years working in an architectural firm setting. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about architecture and design, has an intuitive design sensibility.

This position will be located at the Artthaus corporate office, in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco.

 

Responsibilities include all phases of project production, from schematic design to construction administration, coordination with vendors, consultants, contractors and clients on several projects simultaneously. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's abilities, talents and experience. 
 

Requirements

• Graduate of an NAAB accredited 4 or 5-year school of architecture or NAAB accredited Master's program

• Proficient AutoCAD, Revit, 3-D modeling programs, Adobe Suite and MS Office Suite

• Support team in producing design documents and construction documents

• Thorough knowledge of architectural drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction

• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously and independently

• Ability to be a productive team member with the ability to collaborate with the team while working on complex projects against rigid timelines

• Ability to interface with clients and team members effectively and professionally

• Be able to prioritize and manage time effectively with the ability to be flexible and embrace shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Shows initiative, pro-activity, and ownership of projects where appropriate
